Conostalix squarrosa (J.J.Sm.) V. Agustin, comb. nov.

The characteristic flowers appear same with description that I attach in below.
"Its flowers have white colour with yellow gold strip, dorsal sepal have 5 nerve. Petal linier with 1 nerve.  Apical lip is trilobes".
The characteristic flowers and leaves very different and not matching with Dendrobium pinifolium, so of course it is must be separated species, not as a homotypic symonym.

Rediscovery Dendrobium squarrosum
This specimen come from Perak, with owner Mr. Keladu Senja. This specimen flowering on 17 August, 2011 at his private orchid garden. For close to three months I only know this specimen species from genus Dendrobium section conostalix. Recently this section move to be separate genus named as Conostalix. Finally I found the ID after hunting many descriptions of orchids from old book in library and online database for determine this specimen.
The ID already made by J. J. Smith. He named as Dendrobium squarrosum. He publish the description in Bulletin de l'Institut botanique de Buitenzorg series 2, volume 13 : 22, 1914. Due the name do not revision yet so I make comb. nov, for its name as Conostalix squarrosa.
